To expand the virtual healthcare system during this pandemic crisis, Humana, the health care insurance firm is joining hands with Mercy Healthcare system to deliver medical services to Humana’s Medicare Advantage Members for their health benefits.
- Jeremy Gaskill, Humana’s regional Healthcare president remarks about the joint partnership, “this agreement unites two organizations striving to offer care that is more accessible, personalized and coordinated”. He also added, “ this bond between Mercy and Humana will help the company to improve the healthcare of the people in the communities we serve”.
- Mercy Virtual has a wide expanse of primary care facilities comprising more than 300 clinicians offering round-the-clock care and support. Through this partnership, Humana will have access to all the Mercy Healthcare systems thereby improvising the health conditions of the people at a faster rate.
- The new virtual healthcare service will be offered to any Humana Medicare Advantage members who have been in connection with and usage of Mercy’s specialty care clinics in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Along with this, Mercy also has signed up for a value-based care system with Humana by which will enhance network access at all Mercy Hospitals and outpatient facilities and treatments.
