Aetna has announced a partnership with Autism Comprehensive Educational Services to create an Institute for Quality aimed at individuals and families affected by autism spectrum disorder and other special needs. Aetna members now have access to ACES clinical professionals for value-based autism care. According to the companies, the collaboration will allow both parties to increase access to specialized autism care.
- Aetna’s first Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Institute of Quality was also unveiled by the corporations (IOQ). Given ACES’ industry-leading clinical model and Aetna and ACES’ shared goal to reach and serve more individuals and their families affected by autism, the IOQ will allow both parties to continue increasing access to high-quality autism care.
- Kristin Farmer, Founder, and CEO of ACES said, “ACES is proud of our longstanding commitment to the autism community. The designation of ACES as Aetna’s first Institute of Quality for Autism confirms ACES as a leading care model to serve that community. We are excited to collaborate with Aetna on expanding access to quality care to as many individuals and families impacted by autism as possible and are aligned in our vision to set the standard for autism care in America.”
- The IOQ accreditation from Aetna assists members in selecting consistent high-quality treatment. Aetna recognizes facilities in its network that provide specialized clinical services for specific health conditions and are chosen for certification based on the quality of treatment, dedication to continuous improvement, and cost-effectiveness. ACES offers ABA and auxiliary services to people with autism and other special needs throughout their lives and has a proven track record of success.
