- UnitedHealth Group: The Minnesota-based health insurer thrived during the pandemic year, climbing two spots on the list. While widespread layoffs led to a decline in the number of individuals covered by its commercial insurance, UnitedHealth ranked top in the list with 49.5 Million enrolled members.
- Anthem and Centene: The largest for-profit managed health care company in the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association has approximately 43.5 Million members helping it to secure the second rank in the list. Centene’s foundational belief that everyone deserves access to high-quality, affordable healthcare with dignity drives its determination to expand the range of products they offer in the markets – helping more and more individuals every day. Currently, Centene has ranked third with 25.1 Million members.
- CVS Health (Aetna): Together they aim to create a community-based integrated model in which doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and other health care professionals work together to provide a health care experience that is simpler, more convenient, and less expensive. At present CVS Health is at rank four with 23.6-Million-member subscriptions.
- Humana: Humana’s cultural foundation is aligned to helping members achieve their best health by delivering personalized, simplified, whole-person healthcare experiences. Recognizing healthcare needs continue to evolve for each person, for each family, and for each community, Humana continuously creates innovative solutions and resources that help people live their healthiest lives on their terms. Presently it is at rank Five with 16.95 Million members in terms of membership according to Fortune 500.
- Cigna and Molina Healthcare: 16.7 million members: Cigna is a global health services company dedicated to improving the health, well-being, and peace of mind of those we serve. With 16.7 Million members, Cigna in on the sixth place in the list whereas Molina, the Long Beach, California based managed care company has acquired the seventh position with 4.6 Million members.
